SHOPS AT TARGET. A CLOSER LOOK..

I mentioned yesterday in my post about favorite things in May the launch of Shops at Target, and had to share with ya'll a few more details of this pretty incredible designer collaboration.  The Shops at Target officially launch this Sunday, May 6th and can be found both online and in Target stores throughout the nation.  Luckily, I just happen to be heading to Texas this weekend, and will be able to stop by our local Target in Waco to check out the goods, because if I was here in New York, a trip to Target while doable is not exactly a quick in and out experience to say the least.

For their latest venture, Target has taken designer collaborations to the next level with the launch of a new concept partnering directly with local boutiques and specialty stores nationwide to offer Target customers affordable, limited edition collections.  Basically, every two to four months, Target will bring in a few different "shop-in-shops" with the first round of high-end stores including, The Candy Store (um, can we say excited?!), Polka Dog Bakery, Privet Home, Cos Bar Cosmetics, and The Webster (a high-end Miami boutique).

Polka Dog Bakery, based in Boston, is one of the five shops included in the first Shops at Target.  Dogs throughout the country can get a bite of their own of the Boston favorite,  Polka Dog Bakery.  You can stock up on all of the bones, biscuits, colorful bowls, and collars your four-legged friend could possibly desire and for half the price too!  Check out this video for more about this collaboration, and see a few of my favorites below.

Cos Bar Cosmetics line for Target is another shop I am looking forward to checking out this weekend.  This budget friendly collection for Target includes body care products, bath accessories, beauty and manicure tools, and cosmetic bags in a signature bright leopard print.  Prices for this collection is priced from $1 with nothing over $20.
Let me know if ya'll check out your local Target stores or go online to shop these collections this weekend! I am curious to see what ya'll think of the items once they are in stores.
